A Night with a Song of it's Own

Unfortunately our Ms. Carrie Melton got sick the day before she was booked to perform. Though she was greatly missed our guests rallied and talent was raised from voices within the crowd. Glen Walters took a stroll home to retrieve his guitar with book of lyrics and returned with a set that wowed everyone. Glen performed cover as well as some of his own music. After a short intermission, Callie Thurow performed a variety of pieces accapella showcasing showtunes, Ave Maria, and more requests from the guests. The evening ended with wine and cheese accompanied by wonderful conversation and community bonding. Thanks to the adaptability and kind generosity of the guests, the night was a unique night of gifted musical creation.
